  • C406-N

The Artex C406-N is a single output emergency locator transmitter (ELT) that contains the latitude/longitude information from the aircraft navigation system. Following long message protocol, the 406 MHz transmitter turns on and transmits an encoded digital message to the Cospas/Sarsat satellite system every 50 seconds for 520 milliseconds. During a crash, the ELT automatically activates and transmits the standard swept tone on 121.5 and 243.0 MHz.

  • C406-N HM

The Artex C406-N HM is a single output emergency locator transmitter (ELT) that contains the latitude/longitude information from the aircraft navigation system.

  • Megaphone

The ACR EM-1A, EM-2BA, and EM-1D Portable Safety Megaphones have been designed to minimize acoustic feedback that results in whistling and other similar sounds. Each megaphone has a 90° sound projection angle so that people in the megaphone’s immediate vicinity, as well as those in the rear sections of an aircraft, can hear the message. Plus, the amplifier frequency band-pass has been selected to produce a crisp, clear reproduction of voice signals. Specific attention has been given to the physical size of the megaphone so that each model can be used effectively in a crowded environment.

  • Remote Switch, LED Panel 453-0031

    LED Panel Remote Switch

  • Remote Switch, ME406 ACE 455-0023

This remote switch contains a small, 5-year lithium battery that’s designed to power the LED of the remote switch, thus allowing the ELT system to be independent of the aircraft power. The back of the remote switch contains the connector for the already installed and re-used “telephone wire” of the ACK or Ameri-King ELT installation. The remote switch for ME406 ACE fits exactly into the cut-out of the ACK ELT remote switch on an aircraft’s instrument panel. However, for Ameri-King ELT system upgrades, the cut-out needs to be slightly adapted.

  • 2-Wire ELT/RSWT Interface

The 2-Wire Remote Interface is a follow-up to the ME406 ACE ELT. The ME406 ACE emergency locator transmitter is a replacement for current ACK or Ameri-King 121.5 MHz ELTs, and comes complete with a remote switch and adapters to utilize existing wiring. The 2-Wire ELT/RSWT Interface uses just two of the existing wires from the wiring harness to connect the new cockpit remote switch to any of the 406 MHz series of ELTs.

  • ELT to Nav Interface

When you’re facing an emergency situation, have peace of mind knowing that with the ELT to Nav Interface, search and rescue teams will have the knowledge of your position, within 100 meters. The ELT to Nav Interface is designed to be connected between the aircraft’s Flight Management Computer (FMC) or GPS receiver, and any of the 406 MHz series of ELTs. This allows your position to be transmitted along with your distress signal.

  • ELT to Nav Interface Boeing

When you’re facing an emergency situation, have peace of mind knowing that with the ELT to Nav-B Interface, search and rescue teams will have the knowledge of your position (within 100 meters). The ELT to Nav-B Interface is designed to be connected between the aircraft’s Flight Management Computer (FMC) or GPS receiver, and the B406-4 (Boeing) ELT. This device receives continuous position updates from the aircraft’s navigation system, and then translates it for use by the ELT. If you should need to activate your ELT, your aircraft’s latitude and longitude will be transmitted to a worldwide network of search and rescue satellites.

  • DGL-1

With the Artex DGL-1 programming dongle, fleet operators will be able to efficiently transfer ELTs from aircraft to aircraft. The DGL-1 is a perfect match for the operator who wants auto-programming capability, but does not desire the position data function of the Artex ELT/NAV Interface. The DGL-1 comes attached to a top cover, which, along with the dongle, remain with the aircraft. When an ELT is installed, the DGL-1 re-programs the ELT with the aircraft’s 24-bit address. Bottom line: this device greatly simplifies maintenance and reduces downtime.

  • Programmed PA for C406-N

The Artex Programming Adapter (PA) is an optional accessory for the C406-N series of ELTs, and will automatically re-program a C406-N ELT, overwriting previously stored data for efficient fleet maintenance.

  • LNK-AL15

The LNK-AL15 is an FAA approved water-activated LED survivor locator light that is approved for use on life vests or life preservers in order to indicate the location of survivors in water as a result of an aviation related accident. The lamp and lens combo of the LNK-AL15 produce a powerful light that will last for a minimum of 8 hours after activation with a minimum light intensity of 1 cd. Throughout its entire operational life, the light will continuously output a steady white light to clearly indicate a survivor’s location and increase the probability of rescue.

  • 406Test ELT Self Testing Service

Sale of new 406Test subscriptions has been discontinued as of September 1st, 2023. Existing subscriptions will be supported and will continue to function as normal for the full six month subscription period. The 406Test service will no longer be supported as of March 1st, 2024.

Please note that a 406Test Subscription is an optional service and is not required in order for your beacon to function as intended. Regardless if a subscription is connected to your ELT, the ELT will still transmit your distress message.
