What happened?

the boat was sinking. It was about midnite. Fairly rough conditions with wind about 25 and seas 8-10 feet. About 35 miles south of Gran Canaria. A freighter came on scene about an hour after epirb activation and a Spanish Coast Guard helicopter shortly after that. I got in a liferaft to get away from the boat. A rescue swimmer then took me from the water in a sling.

Words of wisdom

Nice to have the EPIRB to get such a quick response.

Thank you note
