The new Ocean Signal EPIRB3 is a full featured 406 MHz global rescue beacon that comes with a manual release bracket and packs a host of features into a compact modern design which includes AIS technology. AIS provides local rescuers precise and reliable information on the current beacon position, thereby speeding rescue operations. Additionally, Return Link Service (RLS) comforts those who activate the beacon by confirming that their distress message has been received. The inclusion of Near Field Communication (NFC) capability allows use of a smartphone app to monitor the EPIRB’s battery and other functions ensuring it is working properly. With its slim design and advanced features, the EPIRB3 is ideal for a variety of mariners whether they are cruising the med, heading out through the straights for a passage, fishing, working, or sailing offshore.
ResQLink AIS Personal Locator Beacon
The all new ACR ResQLink AIS Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is the most technologically advanced beacon in the world as it contains both satellite and local transponders. With the introduction of Automatic Identification System (AIS) functionality, Return Link Service (RLS) technology, and Near Field Communication (NFC) capability in one 406 MHz beacon, the ResQLink AIS represents a critical advancement in the evolution of PLB technology.
The combination of 406 MHz and AIS distress messaging pairs both global and local rescue into one beacon for the first time, extending access to the Coast Guard and Search and Rescue as well as commercial and recreational boats in the area. Alerting local AIS equipped boats in your vicinity allows for additional vessels to respond directly to the digital mayday with your precise location.
In addition, NFC capability provides users with the world’s first smartphone connected Personal Locator Beacon, the new Return Link Service feature provides users with the peace of mind knowing that their distress message has been received and their location detected by Coast Guard.
SafeSea EPIRB3 Pro

Overboard situations can be a little less hair-raising with the Automatic Identification System (AIS) Man Overboard Beacon (MOB). The AISLink features integrated Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and GPS technology, so you can quickly reach out for help when you need it most. Unlike a personal locator beacon, which signals orbiting search and rescue satellites, AISLink sends an alert message within seconds to all local vessels with an AIS receiver and/or AIS-enabled plotter. Plus, the DSC alarm on your vessel’s VHF radio can also be signaled to make first responders aware of what’s going on.
Be sure to regularly check our download tab for product updates including approvals and manual changes.
Configure AISLink MOB
The world’s smallest personal locating AIS Man Overboard Beacon (MOB) with integrated DSC. The Ocean Signal MOB1 AIS Beacon communicates with the vessel you have been separated from and other marine traffic in the vicinity (up to 5 miles range dependent on conditions). The best chance of rapid rescue if you fall overboard comes from your own vessel. Your crew needs to be immediately aware of the incident and keep track of your position whilst recovery is carried out. Even in the most moderate of seas, it is alarming how quickly a visual sighting of a man overboard can be lost.
