L8-5
The L8-5 is a U.S. Coast Guard approved water-activated LED survivor locator light that is approved for use on life vests or life preservers to indicate the location of survivors in water as a result of a marine related accident or distress situation. The lamp and lens combo of the L8-5 produce a powerful light that will last for a minimum of 8 hours after activation with a minimum light intensity of 1 cd. Throughout its entire operational life, the light will continuously output a steady white light to clearly indicate a survivor’s location and increase the probability of rescue.

ME406 ELT

Backed by the support of a 6-year battery life, the ME406 is an ELT you can count on to have your back, should you be faced with an emergency. If you should ever have to activate the ELT, the 406 MHz transmitter sends an encoded signal every 50 seconds to alert search and rescue teams of your location, so they can more easily bring you home.

406Link Beacon Self-Testing Service
Sale of new 406Link subscriptions has been discontinued as of September 1st, 2023. Existing subscriptions will be supported and will continue to function as normal for the full annual subscription period. The 406Link service will no longer be supported as of September 1st, 2024.
While the 406Link service will no longer be available for purchase, please take a chance to take a look at the ACR Bivy Stick Satellite Communicator which not only provides the ability to send confirmation messages similar to the 406Link service, but also allows for 2-way messaging among numerous other benefits.
Please note that a 406Link Subscription is an optional service and is not required in order for your beacon to function as intended. Regardless if a subscription is connected to your beacon, the beacon will still transmit your distress message and Search and Rescue will be able to identify your location.
