Wat is er gebeurd?

Sailing off the coast (Gulf of Mexico) in high winds and very rough and choppy seas.

Went down into a deep trough and a huge wave broke through and flipped the boat and we turtled. No way to get back over.

We held on and signaled for help. Helicopter showed up after about a half an hour.

It circled around for about another half an hour and then the Sarasota County Sheriff showed up with a big power boat and threw us each a line and pulled us in. We were quite cold, the water very rough and confused and the Sheriff extremely kind and professional.

Took us back to the dock where EMS was waiting, checked us out and that was that.

Next day sheriff called and gave us a position of our capsized vessel and we contacted a salvager and we got the boat back.

The ResQLink was a life saver. We would have never made it through the night .
