What happened?

I was tracking south of Sydney’s Northern Beaches approximately off Mona Vale well off shore on my Yamaha Jet Ski with two passengers Tim and Katka when the Ski broke down in cold weather with a stiff westerly blowing us seaward at a fast pace Due to weather and temperature conditions and the fact that we needed immediate assistance as our position at sea was critical I set off the ResQLink+ without hesitation and within 20 minutes we had an aircraft over head and where rescued by Warriewood Surf Life Saving operations Having ResQLink+ at sea is an absolute must and I will never travel into any adventure situation on or at sea without one. Big thank you to the Surf Life Savers, Police Coast Guard and the emergency rescue teams that came to our aid.
