PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Offered in two convenient formats, as solely a GMDSS Emergency VHF for emergency use only applications or as a full kit for general purpose everyday use and/or emergency use applications, the ACR Electronics SR303 radio serves as an all-encompassing solution for all your maritime communication needs.
The GMDSS Emergency VHF comes with a primary Lithium battery, which includes a battery witness label so that there is never any question as to whether the primary battery has been used or not. Once the witness label is removed, the radio will auto power on when the battery is connected, and the unit will also automatically enter GMDSS operation mode with the following preset settings, channel 16, volume level 8, and squelch set to 2.
The full kit includes the primary Lithium battery as described and also comes with a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery and a charging base. Standard accessories supplied with both the standalone GMDSS Emergency VHF option, or the full kit option include a flexible rubber antenna, belt clip, and wrist lanyard.
Built with ease of use as a design priority, the SR303 is suitable for operation while wearing survival suit gloves and features an easy-to-read digital display. Both the display and keypad are backlit, making operation simple in low-light environments. The SR303 also includes NFC (Near Field Communication), allowing access to battery replacement date and product information on a mobile device.
The durable design of the SR303 makes it suitable for all marine applications and an ideal choice for mandatory and voluntary carriage. With significant experience in marine safety technology and an ongoing commitment to quality and innovation, the ACR Electronics SR303 Marine GMDSS VHF Radio delivers the type of unparalleled performance that mariners worldwide have come to expect from all products produced by ACR Electronics.
