Que s'est-il passé?

The boat was sailing offshore of Boca Grande when Hurricane Ida passed 150 miles off the coast. The boat had recently taken on water and in doing so had crippled the Diesel engine. In an attempt to save the boat, anchors were thrown onto the sandbar 100 feet offshore. As the waves built up over the sandbar, they reached heights of 7 feet, continuously lifting and bashing her onto the bar.

As this continued, she began to sink, causing my life vest and RESQLINK to go off. Local police were alerted and helped move me from the boat. The boat then continued to take on water and sand as the waves slowly but surely slammed her onto the beach; eventually resulting in a complete loss of property and a hefty bill to remove her from the beach. The ACR RESQLINK has provided me with a lot of peace of mind offshore and has now proven itself.
