Should circumstances require a move to a more protected or accessible area, the wrap-around auxiliary antenna allows continued transmission of the distress signal, after removing the ELT from a downed aircraft.<\/p>\n

A lanyard connected to the ME406P allows the user to secure the ELT to a person or object in order to avoid loss or potential damage to the unit.<\/p>\n

Compatibility Simplifies Installation<\/p>\n

The mounting tray of the ME406P series is compatible with all previous models of Artex 406 MHz ELTs, as well as the ELT-200 series, Pointer Model 3000, Narco and ACK E-01 ELTs.<\/p>\n
