The function of each wire is shown on the product label.\u00a0The Wi-Fi Module has an NMEA0183 input that allows an\u00a0external GPS to provide position information for display in the ACR Searchlight App. This is particularly useful if the mobile device does not have an internal GPS, such as a Wi-Fi only\u00a0iPad.\u00a0If no external GPS is connected, the App will automatically use\u00a0the mobile device\u2019s internal GPS and if this is not available, no\u00a0position will be displayed in the ACR Searchlight App.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Mobile App Installation Instructions:<\/h3>\n<p><em><strong>iOS &#8211; Visit the Apple App Store, search for &#8220;ACR Searchlight&#8221;, and download the free app<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Android &#8211; As shown in the screenshot below, go to the &#8220;Lock Screen and Security&#8221; settings screen on your mobile device which you wish to use to control your searchlight, select the option to allow the installation of apps from &#8220;Unknown Sources&#8221; and click &#8220;OK&#8221;.
