    What happened?

I was tracking south of Sydney's Northern Beaches approximately off Mona Vale well off shore on my Yamaha Jet Ski with two passengers Tim and Katka when the Ski broke down in cold weather with a stiff westerly blowing us seaward at a fast pace Due to weather and temperature conditions and the fact that we needed immediate assistance as our position at sea was critical I set off the ResQLink+ without hesitation and within 20 minutes we had an aircraft over head and where rescued by Warriewood Surf Life Saving operations Having ResQLink+ at sea is an absolute must and I will never travel into any adventure situation on or at sea without one. Big thank you to the Surf Life Savers, Police Coast Guard and the emergency rescue teams that came to our aid.

    Buoyant Personal Locator Beacon

It may be small, but it's tough. The ResQLink™+ Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is a buoyant, GPS-enabled rescue beacon that's suited for outdoor adventures of all sizes (think: everything from hiking and cycling to hunting and fishing). Should you run into an unexpected survival situation, the ResQLink+ PLB will relay your location to a network of search and rescue satellites, allowing local first responders to more easily get you home safe and sound. Be Prepared for the Unpredictable
