PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SafeSea EPIRBs operate in the 406MHz satellite band monitored by Cospas-Sarsat, the international satellite operator, ensuring a signal can be located wherever it is activated around the globe.

SafeSea EPIRBs are also fitted with a 121.5MHz homing beacon and a high brightness LED strobe light for fast on-scene location.

The SafeSea E100G EPIRB benefits from a dedicated built-in GPS which sends a highly accurate position, greatly reducing search time.

With the SafeSea EPIRB battery operating life being the highest in the industry an Ocean Signal EPIRB keeps rescue services updated with your location for longer.

Service & Warranty

All servicing or repairs of this EPIRB must be carried out by an approved service agent. Please retain the original packaging for your EPIRB. If the EPIRB has to be returned, for any reason, the original packaging should be used.

The battery pack used with this EPIRB is classed as non-hazardous under IATA Hazardous Transport Regulation.

Batteries should be shipped as category 3090, packing instruction 968: part 2.

EPIRBs with batteries should be shipped as category 3091, packing instruction 969: part 2. (The battery should be removed from the EPIRB before packing, but can be in the same box.)

Your SafeSea E100/E100G EPIRB is warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Ocean Signal Ltd will, at its discretion, repair or replace a faulty product free of charge, including return carriage costs to the owner.

When I register my EPIRB or PLB is the 0 in the 15 digit HEX ID (UIN) the number 0, or the letter O?

The HEX ID consists of the numbers from 0 to 9 and the letters from A to F only. The character 0 is the number zero.
