Le C406-2 a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9 pour r\u00e9pondre aux exigences rigoureuses de la TSO C126, y compris les tests de choc de 500 G, d\u2019\u00e9crasement de 1 000 livres, ainsi que les tests de flamme et de vibration. Le C406-2 est disponible pour une utilisation avec les antennes fouet \u00e9conomiques, l\u2019antenne tige ou l\u2019antenne lame d\u2019ARTEX et peut \u00eatre interfac\u00e9 avec l\u2019interface ELT\/NAV ARTEX optionnelle, permettant la transmission des donn\u00e9es de latitude et de longitude dans le cadre du message 406 MHz. Le C406-2 utilise deux c\u00e2bles coaxiaux pour prendre en charge les trois fr\u00e9quences. L\u2019ELT C406-2 est disponible pour les a\u00e9ronefs \u00e0 voilure fixe avec un interrupteur G unidirectionnel. <\/p>\n

Les ELT ARTEX sont le choix des avions commerciaux, y compris Boeing, Bombardier et Embraer, et des jets d\u2019affaires, y compris Cessna, Beechcraft, Quest, Gulfstream et Embraer.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ELT s\u2019active automatiquement en cas de crash et transmet la tonalit\u00e9 balay\u00e9e standard sur 121,5 et 243,0 MHz.
