Apr\u00e8s une mission d&#8217;environ dix jours, l&#8217;\u00e9quipage subira la rentr\u00e9e atmosph\u00e9rique \u00e0 grande vitesse et \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature avant d&#8217;amerrir dans l&#8217;oc\u00e9an Pacifique, au large de San Diego. Une \u00e9quipe de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration compos\u00e9e de personnel de la NASA et du D\u00e9partement de la D\u00e9fense les attendra et les ram\u00e8nera \u00e0 terre.
