Unfortunately just as we were approaching the mouth of the bay we were hit by a severe squall that lasted an hour with winds up to 60 mph. We were driven into the rocks on the left side of the gulch and had to abandon the surfskis whcih smashed up into pieces. I was finally able to climb the rocks to a ledge where i attempted to call 911.
