We were hanging off the lee side of Flint island for about 2 weeks, and suddenly woke up in the wash of the reef at 3 am. The boat was immediately thrown up onto the reef. We activated the Epirb and sent emails to my contacts apprising situation. Copas\/Sarsat informed JRCC junea ak, who in turn informed JRCC tahiti and we were able to communicate via sat email with them.
